Lara Logan
Lara Logan was born 29 March 1971. She is a South African journalist, radio and television journalist. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan said that her inaccurate and politcally biased coverage of the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the most glaring error of my 10 years of watching." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media group) in the year 2019. [4] In January 2020, she joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service run by Fox News. She stated that she had been "dumped by the network" in March 2022. Logan did her schooling as a reporter at the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) and then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she was hired by Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producer. After four years in the company, she began freelance journalism. The assignments included a reporter/editor/producer with ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. She worked for CNN, reporting on incidents such as the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo conflict.
